A320 DATA LOADING SELECTOR PANEL

The data loading system enables:
‐ To upload database or to modify operational software in aircraft systems.
‐ To download system reports from various aircraft systems.

The data transfer is performed via 3.5 in disks and a portable data loader, or the aircraft fixed Multipurpose Disk Drive Unit (MDDU).

The A320neo has the following software & databases:

• FMS Software
• NAV Database
• Airline Modifiable Information Database
• Operational Program Configuration (OPC)
• PERF Database
• Magnetic Variation Database (MAG VAR)

When the data loading selector is ON, the 3 keys (NEXT, PREV, SEL CTRL) enable the display and selection of various applicable aircraft systems (FMGC, TCAS etc).
