Reference Aircraft: A320neo/LEAP-1A26

1. Cabin Doors

  • The door symbol outline is green when the door is closed.
  • The door is amber when it is open.
  • The door is replaced by an amber “X” when the door status is not transmitted by the System Data Acquisition Concentrator (SDAC).

2. Avionic Doors

  • The front and aft avionic doors, and left and right avionic doors – follow the same principles as the cabin doors. The related symbols are smaller and horizontal.
  • The door is green when closed.
  • The door is amber when open.
  • The door is replaced by an amber “X” when its status is not transmitted by the SDAC.

3. Cargo Doors

  • The same principles of the cabin doors apply, except the door status which is transmitted by the Landing Gear Control and Interface Unit (LGCIU), not by the SDAC.
  • The door symbol outline is green when the door is closed (the door locking handle is locked and the door safety mechanism is safe).
  • The door is amber when it is open (the door locking handle is unlocked or the safety mechanism is unsafe) or when a cargo door sensor (system 1) has an electrical fault.
  • The door is replaced by an amber “X” when the door status is not transmitted by the LGCIU or when the LGCIU1 – L/G door sensors have an electrical fault.

4. BULK Cargo Door

  • The bulk cargo door follows the same principles as the cabin doors.
  • Green when the door is closed (BULK is not displayed).
  • Amber when the door is open (BULK is displayed in amber).
  • Replaced by an amber “X” when the door status is not transmitted by the SDAC (BULK is displayed in white).

5. Emergency Exit

  • The emergency exits follow the same principles as the cabin doors.
  • The door symbol outline is green when the door is closed.
  • The door is amber when it is open.
  • The door is replaced by an amber “X” when the door status is not transmitted by the SDAC.

6. Door Name

  • The door name is not displayed when the door is closed.
  • It is displayed in amber when the door is open.
  • It is displayed in white when the door status is not transmitted by the SDAC.
  • All doors follow the same principles.

7. Slide Indication

  • The SLIDE indication is displayed in white when the door escape slide is armed.
  • It is replaced by amber dashes when the slide is disarmed and the door is open.
  • It is replaced by an amber “XX” when the door status is not transmitted by the SDAC.
  • Nothing is displayed when the door is closed and the slide is disarmed.

8. Crew Oxygen

  • The CKPT OXY indication is normally white.
  • The CKPT OXY indication becomes amber when:
    • The status of the OXYGEN CREW SUPPLY pushbutton is correct, and
    • The oxygen low-pressure signal is correct, and
    • The OFF legend of the OXYGEN CREW SUPPLY pushbutton switch is on, or
    • The oxygen low pressure is shown and stays in view for a minimum of five seconds, or
    • For a system with one oxygen bottle, the oxygen pressure is lower than the amber value, or
    • For system with two oxygen bottles, the oxygen pressure is lower than the amber value.
  • The oxygen pressure value:
    • In green when the oxygen pressure is more than or equal to the value that flashes.
    • In green and flashes when the oxygen pressure is less than the value that flashes.
    • In amber when the oxygen pressure is less than the amber value.
    • Amber XX replaces the value when it is not available.
  • The oxygen half box:
    • An amber half box when the oxygen pressure is less than the half box value, and
    • The aircraft is in flight phase 1, 2, 9, or 10 when a minimum of one FWC is correct, or
    • The aircraft is in a flight phase and the two FWC are not correct.
    • In the normal condition, the half box is not shown.

9. REGUL LO PR Indication

  • This indication is normally not displayed.
  • It is displayed in amber when an oxygen low pressure is detected and transmitted by the SDAC.
  • It is not displayed when the value is not transmitted by the SDAC.

10. Vertical Speed (V/S)

  • V/S indication: The indication is displayed in white in flight phases 5, 6, and 7 (the aircraft is not on the ground).
  • Value of the vertical speed: The value is normally displayed in green (in flight phases 5, 6, and 7). It pulses in green when the absolute value is higher than 1800 FT/MN. It stops pulsing if the absolute value drops below 1600 FT/MN (for a minimum of three seconds). It is replaced by an amber “XX” when the value is not transmitted by the SDAC. It is not displayed when the aircraft is on the ground (flight phases 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10).
  • Unit FT/MN: The unit is displayed in cyan when the V/S indication is displayed. It is not displayed when the V/S indication is not displayed.
  • Arrow: The arrow is displayed in green and points upward when the cabin vertical speed is in the 25 FT/MN to 1800 FT/MN range. The arrow is green and points downward when the vertical speed is in the -1800 FT/MN to -25 FT/MN range. The arrow is green and pulsing when the vertical speed is higher than 1800 FT/MN (for a minimum of three seconds). The arrow is green and pulsing when the vertical speed is lower than -1800 FT/MN (for a minimum of three seconds). The arrow stops pulsing if the absolute value drops below 1600 FT/MN (for a minimum of three seconds). The arrow is not displayed when the vertical speed is in the -25 FT/MN to +25 FT/MN range.
