L/G Manual Release Handles

Manual release handles are on the flight compartment floor behind the first officer.

Manual Extension Access Door

  • Open –
    • Manual landing gear extension is possible with landing gear lever in any position.
    • Normal landing gear extension is still possible if hydraulic system A pressure is available.
    • Landing gear retraction is disabled.
  • Closed – Landing gear operates normally.

Manual Gear Extension Handles

  • Right main, nose, left main – Each landing gear uplock is released when the related handle is pulled to its limit, approximately 24 inches (61 cm).
